A San Diego native, Sarah has been playing water polo for 13 years. In high school, she was named Female Athlete of the Year and played for the San Diego Shores WPC in La Jolla. At UC Davis, she was captain and President of UCD Club Polo. Under her leadership, the team ranked within the top 3 teams nationally each year and won 2 consecutive CWPA National Championships with an All-American selection. Currently she plays for Oakland Masters Water Polo.

Sarah studied Landscape Architecture and Sustainable Agriculture at UC Davis, interning on the Student Farm and Plant Biology Graduate Research Labs. Since leaving Davis, she has worked on farms, gardened with a Bay Area edible design company, staffed farmers markets, and had a short stint as a barista. Channeling her passion for people and farming, Sarah served for two years on the north Oregon coast with FoodCorps, where she coordinated and taught in school gardens. Currently she serves as the Urban Agriculture Supervisor at the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation, which provides affordable housing and services.

As a new coach, Sarah is thrilled to join the Lamorinda WPC coaching staff and foster talent and enthusiasm in these young athletes.
