Welcome to Lamorinda Water Polo Club. Founded in 1999 in the East Bay Area, our club is dedicated to providing a variety of programs tailored to meet the needs of athletes who have the desire to excel in the sport of water polo . Whether you are an aspiring young player looking to learn the basics or a seasoned veteran aiming for collegiate level competition, we have a program for you. With a focus on skill development, teamwork and sportsmanship, we aim to make a lasting impact on the lives of our players both in and out of the pool. Our Programs

Our Splashball program is designed as an introduction to the sport of water polo and is perfect for the beginner athlete. We use pool noodles to aid in swimming and “practices” consist of fun games which familiarize kids with the basic rules and skills of water polo.

Our “FUN”damentals program is the next step up from Splashball and is geared towards the 8-10 age group. These athletes are more confident swimmers and are familiar with the basics of water polo.

Our Competitive Teams program is for the more experienced athlete who is looking to excel in water polo and compete at a higher level. These athletes are good swimmers, understand the rules of water polo and have mastered the basic techniques to play in competitive games and tournaments. We offer four age groups for both boys and girls - 12U / 14U / 16U and 18U.
